Eyes are the windows to a dog's emotions. Healthy dogs should have clear and bright eyes. If the foot pads become dry and cracked, it may be a sign of illness in the dog, especially when the body temperature rises. It should be taken to the hospital immediately for treatment. Of course, if it is only slightly dry, it may be caused by dry weather or excessive walking. At this time, foot cream can be applied appropriately for care.

Does the dog have drooling or bad breath? Dogs drooling may be due to ingestion of toxic substances or inflammation in the mouth. Bad breath may be caused by dental calculus or oral diseases. To maintain the oral health of dogs, they should brush their teeth regularly and bite more hard objects. At the same time, they can also purchase some teething snacks.

Dogs' anus is usually slightly concave inward and does not have a noticeable odor. If a dog frequently sits and rubs against its buttocks, it should be immediately checked for redness and swelling in the anus. If the anus is inflamed, it will become swollen and protrude from the body, accompanied by an unpleasant odor, which is likely to be anal gland inflammation. If you know how to squeeze the anal gland, you can clean and apply erythromycin ointment to your dog. After a few days of persistence, the inflammation of the anal gland in dogs usually subsides or fully recovers.

When gently stroking your beloved dog, you may want to carefully touch its chin, behind its ears, neck, tail base, and abdomen. Through this method, you can check if your dog's hair is tangled and if there are any abnormal conditions such as small bumps or lumps on the skin. It is particularly important to observe whether the dog's skin has small brown or red spots, accompanied by shedding of dandruff.
